The second painting in my North Carolina Waterfalls & Gemstones Collection. Little Bradley Falls, in Saluda, NC, is perfect for a refreshing summer swim. A secluded waterfall deep in the forest in Western North Carolina, bathed in sunlight and vibrant colors. I chose to paint it in the color palette of two locally found gemstones: peridot, a bright yellow green, and rhodolite, a type of garnet, bright deep pink. To me, these colors convey the dramatic beauty of this quiet spot.
