This is a painting of the Appalachian Trail near Carver’s Gap on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee. Feels like the top of the world. Vast views of mountains on each side of the ridge. The elements are rough here: harsh winter winds, ice and snow. But the beautiful views are worth the trip.
