It’s hard to pick just one view of the Blue Ridge Mountains when you’re up high on a peak. This is a view from Black Balsam Knob, one of many from that vantage point, but one that drew me with the sloping hills, the midground pine forest, and the rowan bushes up close. I hope this painting transports you to the top of the mountains on a warm early fall day.
